There are many types of commercially made, disposable synthetic fiber face masks, the use of which has increased dramatically since 2020. An estimated 129 billion disposable masks are used globally every month creating plastic waste and plastic fiber particle/dust and pollution. There are concerns also about the chemicals used in and on the masks: “Face coverings often worn by the public aren't classed as PPE and aren't subjected to the same level of scrutinous examination as masks intended for medical professional use.”
This 13 vial kit includes some the chemicals commonly used in face masks.
Kit contents:
Aniline
Aniline, used in the making of dyes has been linked to cancer in animal studies.

Formaldehyde
Graphene oxide
Approved for use in some masks. https://recalls-rappels.canada.ca/en/alert-recall/graphene-face-masks
Phthalate Mix
Phthalates are used to make plastics, certain polymers softer and more flexible. This vial contains these signatures: Benzyl butyl phthalate, Bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate, Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate, Dibutyl phthalate, Diethyl phthalate, Dimethyl phthalate and Dioctyl phthalate. Phthalates are usually applied as additives and they are not chemically bonded to the materials, therefore they can be easily released. They are known endocrine disruptors interfering with the production of hormones.

Bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate / DEHP
Phthalate Ester Plasticizer / DEHA
Polypropylene
A common polymer used in the marking of masks.
Polytetrafluoroethylene / PTFE / Teflon
Some masks are sprayed with PTFE. It is also used in mask membranes https://www.cobetterfiltration.com/Industries/Medical/Mask/mask-membrane-Nano-PTFE/
Polypropylene Fiber
Synthetic fibers break down into particles or a ‘dust’ that is inhaled and ingested.
Synthetic Fragrance Mix
Artificial fragrances may be used to cover the unpleasant chemical smells[1]
Perfluorooctanoic Acid / PFOA / C8/ Perfluorocaprylic Acid
Traces of PFOA, which EPA has singled out as a likely carcinogen, are found in most disposable masks. Perfluorcarbons (PFCs) are used as oil and water repellents on fabrics. By-products of PFCs are known to be bio-persistent and their use is heavily restricted by in Europe and the USA.[2]
Perfluorononanoic Acid / PFNA
Perfluorooctanesulfonic Acid / PFOS / Perfluorooctane Sulfonate
Note: Ergopathics test kits are not intended to diagnose, prevent, treat or cure any disease, disorder or abnormal physical state. The vials contain ethanol and water and the process used to imprint them with electromagnetic signatures has not been tested or validated by any scientific method and is not approved by any regulatory authority. They are intended for use solely by qualified providers to support wellness and manage stress.
